About Us

Centre for Research in Ayurveda and Social Medicine for International Brotherhood (CRASMIB)

For International Brotherhood

Ayurveda is the complete science of life and the universe. It represents the all-round welfare of existence, including the animal, botanical, and human worlds. At CRASMIB, we believe in holistic wellbeing where health is defined as a balance between body, mind, spirit, and social harmony.

Ayurveda emphasizes the deep connection between human life and the universe. These principles have existed since the beginning of creation and will continue to exist beyond it. By adopting Ayurveda as a way of life, we can create sustainable solutions for modern environmental, social, and health challenges.

“If we save biodiversity, we save the environment. If we only save the physical environment, we risk losing both.” – E. O. Wilson

Basic Principles of Ayurveda

1. TriGunas

The three fundamental universal energies: Satva, Rajas, and Tamas. These govern human behavior and consciousness.

2. Pancha Mahabhutas

The five basic elements: Space (Akasha), Air (Vayu), Fire (Agni), Water (Jala), Earth (Prithvi). These elements form the foundation of life and the human body.

3. TriDoshas

The three body energies: Vata, Pitta, Kapha that regulate physiological functions.

4. Sapta Dhatus

The seven body tissues: Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Meda, Asthi, Majja, and Sukra.

5. Trayodosa Agni

Thirteen types of digestive fire including Jatharagni and Dhatu Agni.

6. TriMalas

The three waste products: Purisa (feces), Mutra (urine), Sveda (sweat).

Our Mission

CRASMIB aims to promote Ayurveda globally and bridge the gap between traditional and modern medical systems. We focus on research, innovation, and social reform to create a healthier and unified world.

Our goal is to eliminate social evils and bring communities together through humanistic actions, shaping the world into one unified global society.
